Fabian Svensson has finished his latest, monumental composition: Tillvaratagna effekter (approx. Lost and found). It is an hour-long, 25 movement work for violin soloist and an expanded version of KROCK; a modern-day reinterpretation of the concept "violin concerto". The ensemble in the piece consists of 6 electric guitars and 2 bass guitars, as well as 2 sopranino recorders, 2 melodicas and kettledrums. The solo part is written for violinist Karin Hellqvist. The premiere performance will take place at the Lederman Theatre in Stockholm, on Friday September 29th. A second performance is scheduled for the following day, Saturday September 30th, at the same venue. Don't miss!2006-06-19

Martin Q Larsson just finished a brand new piece for us: Kr8tett. It is scored for six electric guitars and two bass guitars. What we got from him is the first movement of what is planned to be a four-movement work. We will now learn the piece, and hope to premiere it in the spring season. More info to come!2005-10-26
